To name these modifications of the Arc-1 seems doubtful. They don't have much in common with these earbuds other than being Bluetooth wireless cans. The original Arc-1s had bio-cellulose speakers and a special Bluetooth relay option. Both features are absent from the Arc-1 ANC model. Name aside, the Arc-1 ANC headphones are very good. They are comfortable for prolonged listening, have very good sound quality and good battery life. ANC isn't very aggressive, so this could be a good or bad thing depending on your specific use cases. The only real downside I've encountered with the ANC Arc-1 is the relatively low sensitivity of the Bluetooth receiver. It's relatively easy to accidentally block my music player's connection with your hand or pocket. This is on par with the original Arc-1 and may be due to the relatively small transmitting antenna on my music player. Perhaps a smartphone user will have a different experience. I recommend Arc-1 ANC if you don't need aggressive noise cancellation in ANC headphones.
