Skip it unless you really want a remote controlled light

The light looks nice, and it's nice to be able to choose the exact tone between warm and cool white (we like it all the way warm). However the remote is such a nuisance. We were hoping we could use the remote just to fine tune the lighting style (how warm or cool, how dim or bright) and then use the switch. Not really. It only turns on half the time with the switch anyway, or takes like 5–10 seconds to start up. And if your child flips the switch up and down, it resets to the coolest, brightest light available — awful! We will be returning since we just want a light that works with a lightswitch.
