It was very easy to install using regular hand tools. When installing, I made sure each end of the stud section was attached to the wall studs and inserted a screw into the center drywall holes of each section using the screws provided. The mounted rack is strong and securely fixes the tools placed on it. I was able to store shovels, an ax and some battery powered gardening tools etc on the rack (see picture). If I had more space in the garage, I would add another shelf. But like many Florida homes that don't have a basement or usable attic, garage walls are usually lined with shelving for extra storage. I am very satisfied with this product.
