This is fantastic little technology, especially in a Unifi deployment. The ability to have a gigabit switch and access point in a small wall unit is perfect for my living room. Hotel rooms are what they were designed for, but in my personal environment at home, I can't think of a better option. I have an IW-HD setup behind my media console that has an ethernet connection. This allows me to hardwire my TV, PS4, and NVR, along with another free port for whatever comes in the future. WiFi connectivity is great, I also use Nano HD on my second floor ceiling so between the two I have full WiFi coverage in my 3600 sq ft house, even my detached garage has enough signal to connect smart devices, open the garage doors! Thanks to high-speed Internet, I get downloads of over 500 Mbit/s while sitting in my living room. If you have a Unifi system at home, this is a great option for your media center.
