My daughter is in love with these shoes. When she saw the color we yelled a little and she said it was her favorite color. In fact, her favorite color is pink, but she loves lemon and purple. So definitely New Balance quality and I've been wearing New Balance shoes for many years, as has my husband. This is my daughter's first encounter with NB shoes. They're very comfortable, she says. For some reason, she's particularly concerned about the protector on the underside. My daughter has a foot and a half team, but the foot is very narrow. This shoe is definitely wider. She can wear it, but I have to tighten the laces as tight as possible. At 6 she still struggles to tie her shoelaces but I think we're getting closer. They will definitely have room to grow but they look very stylish and by the time school returns this year they will have already chosen them as their first everyday shoes. If not, they're definitely strong enough to last through the summer and big enough to last through the fall, if not longer. Again, I think they're probably very good for a wider foot.
