Review on Kodak 1960988 ScanMate I940 Scanner by Scott Gafur

Pros: Easy to set up Fast scanner Cons: Quality is average, could be improved Tells you there are 9 preset tasks BUT NOT IN THE PAPER OR DIGITAL MANUAL WHAT THEY ARE! Kodak forgot to write somewhere in the manual that their preconfigured 9 tasks are very disappointing at first, but after reading other reviews they were just as disappointed. Someone was kind enough to include them in another review after testing them all. Here they are: 1. Two-sided color (pdf)2. Double-sided b/w (pdf)3. Two-way text recognition (readable) b/w (rtf)4. One-sided color (jpg)5. Double-sided b/w (tif, 2 files)6. Double-sided b/w (tif, 1 file)7. Two-page black and white email attachment (pdf)8. User Choice9. Same as #8 but with different default values.
