I've used this 2 or 3 times to attach things to the trunk lid (diamondback with brackets) and it works fantastic. After ordering it I almost returned it because after several thoughts I didn't really know if I would need it, but for the price I decided to keep it "just in case". The material is basically similar to seat belts - very strong and the ratchets work perfectly. The bag it comes in is really really handy to keep it neat and tidy until I need it and it works exactly how I imagined! Holds things very well so I don't have to worry about them moving, slipping or falling. This is way better than trying to tie something with some straps or rope! Very very glad I kept it. For the price and the reassurance if something came with it, it was worth the money after I used it a few times.
