Well made, but too big. Obviously you must have LOTS of hair, THICK hair and/or a big head. I have none of the above. All I have is a high ponytail which I wanted to customize the hat for. Even with velcro and wearing the ears under a bandage I couldn't get it tight enough. Fell off my head the second day wearing it on the boat. Someone will be lucky, he will find it on the shore. Maybe salt water will reduce it. Please, hatter, make a hat for small grown-up shoes. I bought 2 hats. I have another one that I keep for our boathouse guests.
