We got a pair of Wrangler pants that fit my son perfectly and he loved them so I looked on Amazon. You are perfect! My son is very skinny 59 pounds 9 years old. He hates "tight jeans" and normal jeans/pants are so big that the waist doesn't get skinny enough for him. It's too high for a size 8. We use these for our khaki school uniform pants and they are perfect, we have two pairs. I'm looking for matching jeans from Wrangler as he loves that fit so much. I can't recommend them enough!
