Very nice collar with prongs. I love that it has a safety lock so you can get your pup out as soon as possible in an emergency! That's why I actually bought it, I bought it for my family dog, he's a large breed mix, and to be honest it helped a lot, it comes with separate prong caps and 1 extra separate metal prong if your dog has a very has a big upper neck! When measuring the spiked collar, please make sure it is the circumference around the dog's neck, just behind the ears. I often see spiked collars being misused. But you have to be careful where the collar is 24 hours a day, 7 days a week because using a prong lower than just behind the ears is actually putting pressure on the dog's windpipe and that means you're cutting the collar Literally strangle the dog. so please use with extreme caution if this is too worrying I would recommend a dog head halter instead. So overall I would definitely recommend this, especially since it's an emergency lockdown! Very well made and size L was a little big on my 95 lb dog neck but what I really like is that you can remove the prongs to adjust the fit. You definitely don't want it to be too loose or too tight behind the dog's ears. Enough to stay in place without making the dog uncomfortable.
