Received this to replace my Realtek onboard audio that did not match my Klipsch desktop speakers. I can only say that it is very beautiful. The difference is huge. I can distinguish small tones in my music much more clearly, especially at higher frequencies. One thing the product listing doesn't warn you about is that this card requires its own power connector. You need to connect the SATA power cable to the back of the card. This must be a real SATA line from your power supply, not a Molex to SATA adapter (according to the instructions). At first I didn't know and thought my card wasn't working. After I plugged it in, it works fine with standard drivers. I don't have any EVGA specific software installed which I believe is primarily for LED control.
