I'll try to explain why the reviews on this mouse are so different. The new V7 is rubbish, the negative reviews are justified. Mouse quality is poor The old V7 is a great comfortable mouse, and positive reviews are most likely written for the old revision. If you see an old revision on sale, then take it, you can distinguish them by the sensor below, if there is a large hole inside - this is a new revision, if there is no hole, but there is a small neat glass - this is old. The packaging is also different, most of the old revisions were with an activated core, the new activated ones are not for sale. Also, in the new revision there is no software disk, but in the old revision it is included. Below is a photo of the sensor glass of the old revision. Internally, the mice are almost indistinguishable. New on the right, old on the left.
