I wanted an alternative for my Wii so I didn't have to switch cables for PS2 and Wii. At first I was glad it worked, but upon further observation I noticed moving lines on the Wii main menu. I thought that maybe once I started playing I wouldn't notice them as much, but then it gets worse. I love playing horror games but it's too dark compared to my brand's normal component cables which are very similar in terms of brightness to the original Nintendo cables that come with my Wii. Much clearer picture. I may have a defective device, but I think I'll just use my component cables. If that doesn't bother you then go ahead, but if you're like me and mainly play horror games, please stay away.
