This is a pretty good car. Very easy to process, but permanent. The first job I did for this shredder was a ten inch stack of documents and some closed documents, some of which were quite thick. The children even helped me because I opened up very thick because I was afraid of jamming the machine. The machine worked reasonably well and produced 9 full buckets of shredded paper. Many documents were stapled in the top corner and the shredder chewed through them with no problem. I actually loaded the machine with a 9 sheet set so I was a bit surprised as the maximum recommended number of sheets is 12. They were packed very tight so I think it jammed the machine. Machine Design Key Features to Get the Job Done - Auto power on with sensor, reverse gear to clear jams, safety button that only allows the teeth to rotate when the top is fully attached to the bucket (great feature as the teeth are EXTREMELY sharp which is a good thing is) Compact size and unobtrusive NOT SO BIG DEAL: It produces a lot more dust than our previous device. It's a little noisy. So if you're going to use it in the office, you'd better put it somewhere more isolated than your desk. The shredded material is quite wide and long (about 1/4 inch by 1 and 1/4). It would be nice if they could be further trimmed down to less than half an inch. convert it to another bucket without bypassing the security click (and that would be dangerous as the device could turn on upside down in the position and that would be VERY VERY dangerous. Overall I would definitely recommend this simple paper shredder for home use Recommend Office. If there is high demand and constant use by a few people, such as a small office, this may be fine but it is borderline.I spent 30 minutes mostly just stopping to offload stuff and it came a bit wormy but came with just some jam.
