Emergency radio with NOAA, FM, AM, 2 x 18650 lithium batteries, power bank, crank and solar power

I received this product in exchange for my honest review of the Revain Vine program. Seller's brand WDGSSA lists this as "NOAA Weather Radio AM/FM/WB 2020 Newest Portable Solar Emergency Radio with 4000mAh Power Bank Motion Sensor Lamp LED Flashlight SOS Alarm Portable USB Rechargeable Radios for Hurricanes Households " on. I wanted a NOAA home or travel emergency radio. It easily picks up 2 NOAA stations in my area plus FM without extending the antenna. The AM reception is also good. The tuning wheel works well, as does the volume, which controls a speaker and is a radio on/off switch. Figure 1 shows everything you'll receive, including the carrying case and Lightning connector adapter, along with easy-to-follow instructions. I fully charged 2 large removable lithium 18650 batteries the night before use as they recommend; They also say to charge every 2 months to keep the batteries in top condition. I like that they are easy to remove and can be replaced or taken out and set aside if I want to (which of course interferes with almost every function of the device). A tiny solar panel (pic 2) and a hand-powered dynamo charger (pic 5) are intended as a last resort when the batteries run out of power. With the batteries REMOVED and powered only by cranking, I was able to get a great sounding radio until it stopped cranking! Wonderful! A NOTICE. Not how it's supposed to be used, but it works. This is not a stereo system; decent sound. I liked the top LED panel of the "Booklite" solar panel, which turns on automatically when I flip it (Figure 3). The side LED lights have 3 levels of brightness and work well. The SOS signal will be loud after pressing the SOS button for 2 seconds. Figure 6 shows the USB input and output for the charging ports - use micro to charge, standard USB to partially charge your phone in an emergency. Overall, I was impressed with how much was packed into this little emergency radio. Does everything it promises to do well. highlighted.
