OK, I do it myself and am a bit eccentric. Even with $1,000 of professional video gear, paying $140 for what I think is $20 drives me crazy. I'm using DJI RONIN M. THIS IS NOT DESIGNED FOR THIS, but if you use the supplied screw (M8) and screw into this part from the back of the QR plate through the center, you can then attach 1 or 2 small rail latches. I WANTED TO ADD MOZA IFOCUS M, I charged $75 which is a FAR from $400-$600 for an OEM part. Note. This route requires a proprietary power cord from Moza, $20, it came from Hong Kong in 2 weeks (takes standard 5v and converts it to 8v to power the motor. I use dozens of these, cages, buttons etc. etc.). Purpose it is 100%, for DIY you might find it good as a single piece you need anyway. I can't say enough about the small setup! AA++
