I love this Sashay yarn! I have knitted or crocheted scarves for Christmas gifts with this yarn and they are beautiful. I recently found this YouTube video by YvetteMarieCrafts - 2 different ways to crochet a shirred sashay shawl where you basically knit 7 stitches and then work the 8th stitch through all the stitches on the crochet hook. Repeat this until you have reached your desired scarf length. In the video, she says to tie a knot at the end; I finish my end the same way I started, fold the end over and make the final stitches, then secure the end with a needle and suitable thread where the ruffles will cover it. I also use 2 strands together with hook N which makes the shawl fuller. Take the time to untie the ribbon and roll 2 strands into a ball, the actual "crocheting" is so quick. Because of the variety of colors in this yarn, they make wonderful gifts at any time of the year. Try it, you will be amazed!
