I guess it depends on the size of your monitor and how stable you want it to be, but I probably wouldn't put a 27 inch monitor on it. too wavy. Not that I'm scared of collapsing or anything, but not strong enough to comfort me. Maybe it would have been better with the legs all the way down, but. Even with the legs up there really isn't much underneath and I was a little disappointed with that. If you want to slide in a small keyboard (i.e. a non-normal sized keyboard, this might work). Forget putting your laptop or anything else in there. are still good and I wasn't planning on using them as a monitor anyway so I'm still mostly satisfied, just wish they were a bit bigger and more powerful.
