I poured over the reviews before I purchased this. so thank you to all that reviewed it before me. I am 5'7", 125 ilbs, longer in the legs, 32B/C and some curve - and I ordered a size small and am very happy I did not get the medium. I think it would have been too baggy. I can see how this might not be a great dress if you are completely straight as a board because there is some curve shape built into the dress. That being said, what little curves I have fit fine. It is fairly long length, just FYI. so it might be very long for the petite ladies. The v-neck is nice - not too low so that you are hanging out. but just enough for some style. I was worried the sleeves would be too baggy bc of the blouson effect, but they are actually just really cute and stylish. This is seriously a perfect holiday party dress. I am going to wear mine at New Years with boots - even if we are stuck in the house bc of COVID! But it would also look fab with high heels. Great dress and I am glad I don't have to send it back. Seems like a good staple to have in the closet and I can see wearing it in business if you have to attend a function or event or even an environment that is dressy. p.s. you may need some shapewear to help smooth. but not required.
