These are really good clippers! Conclusion: Highly recommended - worth the full price. so before it starts breaking (check out my other reviews if you want proof); but these hair clippers are of excellent quality. Advantages: + Robust build quality - feels good in the hand and is well balanced + LCD display provides useful information + Charging station included + Blade depth adjustable with four buttons without attachments + Precise cutting + Battery not empty during full hair cutting and body with Long life + Oil life reminder + Different cutting speeds at the touch of a button + Nice packaging (great gift) Cons: The LCD display is very bright, like a night light - it stays on all the time when the hair clipper is in the charging stations. It's a bit of a nuisance that some might enjoy entering their bathroom at night. The charging dock takes up more space than necessary because it lies flat and there is no holder for knife attachments. Ideally, they would redesign the dock so that the clippers stand upright and then build small shelves next to it so you can place accessories inside. The only benefit of the current dock design is that it fits better in a drawer or short shelf (of course, if the dock is in a drawer, how do you plug it in to charge the clipper?). As for the price, I paid $75.99. for sale with a seller coupon available at checkout. Currently (8/9/21) the list price is $109.99 and there is a $10 discount coupon at checkout. Although it's currently 32% more than what I paid for, I honestly think it's still worth $100. These machines replaced my $26 Wahl cordless machines that lasted just under three years. Battery life was poor at less than two years, it was impossible to trim a man's hair without charging - to make matters worse, these clippers could not be used when plugged into an outlet. Your charging system does not bypass the battery. So trying to use them while plugged in requires charging the battery a bit and then draining it while using them while trying to charge them (essentially it works, but at a very slow trim speed). , which wasn't good for anything other than sideburn trimming or something quick/easy). Only time will tell how long this new clipper's battery will last, but given the amount of charge left after a haircut, I suspect it will last for several years.
