Review on Airtex E2000 Electric Fuel Pump by Mike Bonilla

I fitted this pump to my Ford 351 when I was rebuilding the engine. I had a problem that I couldn't figure out. I installed two fuel gauges, one before and one after this pump to figure out my problem. The first pump I tried felt so hot I think it was cooking the fuel. For this I have a feed pump that supplies enough pressure and volume. So Revain sent me another pump and after installation one of the screw terminals for the electrical connection came loose a little more than hand tight. Revain's excellent customer service enabled me to return a second pump for a refund. I turned around and bought a Bosch 69100 which at first seemed to solve my problems but further testing is needed. Bosch is as close as possible to the OEM.
