I love these trail running shoes. I like the hardfill feature, some people don't. The bottom padding is very stiff, for me I walk through water and mud, it's nice that it doesn't act like a sponge soaking up all the water and mud. I think it also prevents me from sensing sharp rocks. I also love the laces on this shoe, that's my favorite thing about this shoe. Once I put my shoes on, they stay in place for the duration of the run. I've run 30 mile races and not once have my shoes come off. No matter how dirty my shoes get, it's nice not to tie or untie the laces. In my photo, the pink shoes are the ones I just bought. My old boots, the purple ones, are probably at least 600 miles old, maybe more. I put the old shoes on the photo so you can see how they wear out. They end with holes where my pinky goes on the side. And also the back of the shoes where my heel is. I've never felt uncomfortable wearing the back of a heel, but the holes on the side result in too many small stones getting into the shoe. All in all, I think they've held up pretty well considering what I've been through.
