My husband had a Garmin Instinct last year but was looking for something different. We came across Ceros Vertix in a YouTube video. We then seemingly looked at and read every review on every Coros watch before we bought it. The GPS appears to be very accurate, which is what instinct gave it. This is MUCH better than using the GPS on your phone through the Strava app. It was very inaccurate. It has about 60% battery life and charged it to 100 in under an hour. The battery life is insane. Instead of charging about every six days depending on how much GPS he was using, he still hadn't charged for two weeks. He is very fond of changing clock faces and seems to change them daily. He looks forward to new things. We hope Coros will add activity information like weekly, monthly and yearly totals and not just the daily average. The Vertix case is pretty cool. He's not sure what he'll do with it yet, but he was very excited to get it. If the price could drop by around $100 and the Vertix came in a box instead, that would be preferable. It's cool, but maybe not necessary. In general, the watch is a beast! It will improve as Coros releases updates. I just hope future updates don't spoil this amazing battery life. I think that's their biggest advantage.
