They work! - Cable tie
Easily cleans play area, looks nicer and is much easier to handle. So far, magnets have not caused any problems with the electronics. At least they are all far enough away. I was able to attach some string to the table leg which helped a lot with the leg room and didn't have to use tape because it was quite nice.
