As much as possible without getting into professional microphones

This microphone is a one-piece microphone, both in terms of weight and physical construction. There is nothing consumer in it as every feature and element is manufactured with commercial quality. Physical Construction: - The first thing you'll notice is how massive this mic is as it weighs a lot. It has a round base with a rubber pad to keep it from moving easily after installation. ο‚· - The position of the microphone moves on brackets held by two hinges. There's no adjustment, but it holds position with ease if you want to tilt the mic position to your liking. - Three front panel knobs for mic gain, instrument gain and headphone volume are knurled for easy adjustment. customization is easy. In addition, the face of the buttons has a color that contrasts with the pointer, showing exactly what position your setting is set to.ο‚· - The mute button is small, unobtrusive and works smoothly and silently.ο‚· - Green LED front and center and turns amber when the mute button is pressed to indicate the mic is muted.ο‚· - Slide switches for mic input pattern, mono/2-track input, and monitor on/off on the back of the mic snap hard on them . . This is a commercial quality feature, it works clearly and you know exactly which feature you have selected. Audio Characteristics and Frequency Response:ο‚· - Cardioid polar pattern, mono input was selected for voice recording - Microphone input gain was set at 75% - This microphone required slightly more gain than the FiFine for voice recording to output a comparable level. It's amazing that the microphone gain is so high. The audio output was clean, crisp and clear with no artifacts. - There are no noticeable differences between this and the FiFine K678 microphone - the voice pickup has a slightly different pitch, but I can't say that this microphone is significantly better than the FiFine microphone. In a blind test, it would be difficult to separate them.ο‚· - There is a 3.5mm headphone jack on the back of the microphone, the volume of which is adjustable with the volume knob on the front, and this feature works well for you to To control your own audio into the microphone.ο‚· - The green LED on the front of the microphone may momentarily turn red when the input signal level exceeds the maximum threshold as you fall into the clipping region. I think this is a great feature that many other mics don't have as it gives you a real time visual indication when you are cutting. - G Track Pro is very sensitive to crackling sounds picked up by the microphone when speaking. directly to the item. I used it without a pop filter. To solve this problem without a pop filter, I rotated the microphone 90Β° so that it faces my cheek and speaks through the front of the microphone. Microphone usage: ο‚· - G Track pro was used for VoIP calls and nothing else. ο‚· - No problem using computer speakers 16" behind the microphone as the cardiod microphone's recording circuitry prevents feedback. The Figure 8 and Omni settings have not been tested, but I am sure they will work well for the intended applications. Final Thoughts: This is a serious consumer microphone built to commercial standards. There is nothing low quality about this microphone and the audio output is as good as it gets without spending ten times more. I did not use this mic for gaming, podcasting or recording music. But I think it suits everyone as the dynamic range is really there. If you want the same sound quality at a lower price without many of the features this microphone offers, check out the FiFine K678. Otherwise, this mic deserves front and center focus on your desk, whether you're an aspiring artist or a corporate thief who wants to be heard on all those conference calls.
