Review on Brydge Multiport Desktop Windows Displays by Richard Alemayehu

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Disappointed but good buying and returning experience

UPDATE: So I contacted their support team. They apologized for the inconvenience and confusion. I'm not sure if they will update their marketing but they should. This item requires a sufficiently powerful charger. Though I still don't know what it is. Only a few (2-3) hours of use. This product no longer works. I wondered what was going on and decided to fix a few things. It seems that this product needs to pass current through the charging port in order to work. However, they do not include a power supply. Yes!?! There is a USB-C cable. I'll give it to them, but nothing to power the device with. The port shouldn't read "charging" it should read "power supply" which is even worse. They don't specify how much electricity to use. Even if I used a USB-C power adapter, I don't know how much power to put into the device. The product here reads up to 87 watts. wo Most chargers are sold by voltage 🤦‍♂️ Headaches intensify. I guess I'll have to contact Brydge support. If they have good support I'll happily change my rating to at least a 4. The product is new so I understand that some adjustment needs to be made but the usual. No energy? Truth? Oh, and that little rubber thing that's supposed to support your laptop comes loose from the packaging. I didn't test it too much when it arrived, so it could also be due to the couple of hours my laptop spent with it. This should also be fixed.
