What I love most about this pet carrier is that my cat didn't run away while I was planting it! Although this is a soft stretcher, the sides are thick enough to stay in place when trying to put your cat in it. You can then roll the top over your body and doo-dah in a flash before the cat panics and tries to run away. I got it a few days ago, sprayed it with catnip and let my cats explore and sleep in it. Used for the first time today and had no problems. The only thing that says under 25lbs is that my largest cat (that I've had to get) is 18lbs and fits just right. A 15 lb baby is fine too, so I wouldn't consider it a really big cat. The underside is durable, so the cat doesn't get caught in a "sling" when carrying it. As long as you keep the size issue in mind, a really good buy.
