Review on 📀 Efficient DVD Movie Writer: HP DC5000 Offers Seamless Recording Experience by Luis Neels

I bought this DVD burner to convert all my mini DV movies to DVD format. The installation was successful on the first try. I hooked up my camcorder to load a movie and it seemed to work fine until it suddenly stopped after about 15 minutes. I tried restarting the download but couldn't start it, the DVD ejected automatically when I tried this. I restarted my computer and tried again, this time the download finished after about 2 minutes. I tried to reinstall the software and at that time it crashed my XP. Since there was a lot of other software on the computer I was using, I figured it was an incompatibility issue and installed it on a computer that only had XP installed with the latest patches. There were various crash scenarios and finally my XP crashed on this machine too. I even tried updating the firmware to no avail. I bought this on the recommendation of a colleague who seemed to have found it to work very well, but my experience with it was a disappointment over 2 weekends. I ended up sending the Revain product back.
