This cat food is a godsend! My cat developed a sensitivity or allergy to something and had horrible diarrhea every day. Tried medication and a special food that the vet recommended - Science Hill ZD - a hydrolyzed food that should eliminate any sensitivity issues. It got a little better for a while, but then my cat got worse again. And Hill of Science is sooooo expensive! So I asked about another brand of hydrolyzed food that would be even more expensive. I decided to go to our local pet store and see what they have and bought this brand. It had limited ingredients, no grain and no chicken. I was pretty sure my cat was sensitive to this as it was in the food I used before SH. I chose a rabbit because she has never had one. And now she's great! Since switching to this food, she no longer has diarrhea. Her poop stinks a little more than it used to when she was healthier, but MUCH better than the diarrhea. She gained weight, her fur was shiny and she was back to normal. This meal is more expensive than some of the others, but if you have trouble with the standard meal, give this a try before heading to Science Hill ZD! Update: 3 months later! My cat does well with this food. Their coat is shiny and smooth without shedding or itching. Her eyes shine and she is happy. And me too!
