I was looking for a cheap lapel mic to improve the sound of some voice recordings for weekly videos. So I gave it a try based on the good reviews. Well it didn't disappoint. For less than $20 this is a great mic. When you open the box you will find a velvet pouch containing a microphone, two clips, 5 windscreens (different colors) and an audio jack to connect to a PC. I have an iPhone 8+ so had a 1/8" to zip converter handy. Plugged it in and checked with the voice memo app. Works like a charm. The clip attaches well to clothing and there are several windscreen colors to suit your taste. I tried plugging it directly into the audio jack on my MacBook Pro and guess what - it worked! This microphone is very good for speaking. But I tried to sing and it was too loud for this mic. The spoken word is best suited for this purpose, and it does it very well. No regret. Excellent purchase.
