Good card quality, too thick for gold foil.

Good quality cards. However, it is SUPER thick, around 300 gsm. It will not print on my HP Neverstop 1202w laser printer. My Epson inkjet printer prints fine. It prints fine on my HP Laser Jet Pro m478 MFP, but when I try to apply gold foil over the top through the Minc machine, there are still black spots here and there (see photo). I tried it with a lighter weight of 216 g/mΒ². Card, same laser printer, same gold foil, and everything was perfect! So I assume the paper is too thick or not smooth enough for gold foil? So if you don't need gold foil, this is REALLY good cardstock! It's fine to use if you need to make boxes, but when it was laminated it was too thick for my cricket machine to cut into a box shape unless you need to laminate that. perfect cut!
