My baby LOVES them but they smell

They look exactly like the advert. My dinosaur baby LOVES them BUT they smell like gas. They also leave an oily residue that even stained the box they came in. I was about to return them as they still stink after a few days of inactivity. If he hadn't loved her so much (and I know what he would look for if he couldn't find her), I would have given her back. They don't look like the dinosaur eggs he likes, they are soft and have dinosaur embryos that can be crushed over and over again. One of his favourites.
