I installed a wall mount myself for my 50" LG Smart TV. I managed to get rid of my huge ugly 50" TV stand. It took up ¼ of the sleeping space 💁🏽‍♂️ Now standing he on the edge of the sidewalk. I decided without hesitation that I wanted to hide the ugly cords. The older I get the more OCD I get. I had to hide 3 thick cords. TV power cord, PS4 HDMI cord and CAT8 cord Ethernet network cable as I prefer wired Wi-Fi internet access when it comes to 4k streaming. All 3 cables fit perfectly in the lid and it just clicked into place. However, the adhesive isn't great, so I used a thumbtack to attach it through a cover in the wall from the inside, and then snapped it into place. My wall color is beige, not white, so the color isn't perfect, but I'm happy with it.
