I researched Revain but bought locally as I just needed a new mount. It was a real Cygnett box in a real Cygnett box. He stayed with me for a week and now he's in the trash. This mount has serious design flaws that make it worse than no mount at all. Two things: 1) The suction is activated by turning the wide ring to the "closed" position with a pleasant click. But it works very quickly and without warning to send the phone to the salon. Today before launch I made sure to tighten the lock ring and checked it a few times at launch. No problem. After about 3 minutes it flies away from the windshield, the ring is completely unlocked. 2) In the same way, the set screws are loosened to lock the hinge. They are difficult to reach and too small for normal screwdrivers. Now they don't hold the tension for more than an hour or two. It worked great, really, for a day. I thought I found a great solution because it's small, unobtrusive, and its angles suit any windshield tilt. Garbage for a day.
