I almost bought it because of all the negative reviews, but I decided to risk it and buy two 😊. I bought both pink and white AB and I am very satisfied! I've seen so many people with photos of broken and cut open cases that I thought I'd try them with my old AirPods when they get stuck. I'm happy to report that it didn't get stuck and I was able to easily remove my AirPods from both of these cases (see attached video). I may have gotten two perfect cases, I don't know, but following one of the other video reviews I pushed the top of the case off completely by pressing on the edge and the top of my AirPods came off slightly. After that I was able to remove the AirPods. I highly recommend this case. It sparkles so beautifully, it's durable, and AirPods are easy to insert and remove. I also like the fact that this is a one piece case and the top is not separate from the bottom like some other cases.
