These are great eyeshadows the only thing they need to put on the product or the product description says it needs a makeup sharpener so you sharpen it be able. I had to look on YouTube to find out because this isn't a typical makeup pencil. I like that it's a plastic material and not wood because it doesn't have any jagged parts that can hurt you.
