I used this GPS mount on my previous car to mount a Garmin Nuvi to the windshield. Firstly, the suction power is not very good, it periodically broke down while driving. So when the Garmin GPS was attached, the whole thing detached from the windshield and flew towards me. It is not safe to drive as you can get scared very easily and it can take your attention away from driving and lead to an accident if you are not careful. Second, the suction leaves a large mark on the windshield that never goes away, and despite numerous attempts to clean the windshield, the mark remains. I have received this item twice - the first time the item came from Garmin back when Garmin was more generous. The second time I bought a new Garmin and the second time I got another one. I hated the first one so much that I ended up buying a Garmin wearable friction mount - and it works like a charm! Since then I've been using it, it never fails, it stands still. Don't waste your money by buying this product. Buy a Garmin wearable friction mount.
