I went to the pet store and found that 24 inches is too small and 28 inches is too big. If you look online, 26 is actually an unusual size with several options available. The product arrived with hollowed out plastic and sharp edges. The compartments at the top are also very thin. Plastic in general is like cheap flimsy plastic. Someone noticed that the rear latch doesn't work. I can see how they thought that, because when you press on it, the plastic deforms, not fixes. I had to push from the inside as someone was latching it from the outside so the plastic was hard enough for the latch to work. I'm still keeping it because, as mentioned, this size is hard to come by and imperfections don't affect the function of the product. I still want the product now and don't want to bother with the return process. To credit the sellers, return shipping is free. For this size, the price is not bad compared to other similar items of the same size. However, Walmart had a 26" for the same price, which I thought was very low quality (this one turned out to be just as low quality). If I had to do it again, I would go to Walmart to pick the one which is in the best condition.
