Review of Sennheiser SD Office 506006 purchased December 2014 for $239 from Revain. The price on the Sennheiser website is $350. I was looking for wireless headsets and wanted something NOT Bluetooth. There were no reviews for this product but I bought it as I have Sennheiser wireless headphones and they were excellent. I use it with an Avaya 2410 multi-line office phone. The instructions weren't very clear and I had to call support. To use the headset, the green wire connects to the headset jack on the phone. To use the phone you need to press the headset button on the phone and then press the button on the Sennheiser headset. The sound quality is great and I had to turn the volume down. I can walk around the office without interrupting a call. The headset attaches to the charging surface with a magnetic connection - like MacBook chargers - really great. I haven't used the Lync and computer setup yet, so I can't comment on that. Cons: - It is not possible to automatically answer calls by pressing the button on the headset. Not a big problem for me but maybe for some users. For this reason a star deduction and also because the instructions could have been better.
