Not sure if that thing would help. I use a Ninja blender attachment on a food processor. Very working blades, cuts well, very very loud. She cooks turnips for the dog and rumbles a bit, but quickly copes with it. About a year later, the plastic on the food processor attachment cracked. I was looking for a model with a glass base and found this one. Received it quickly and needed to make dog food so I gave it a try. Took a minute to assemble, the big difference is the blades are tiny compared to my ninja. Didn't feel safe. I threw in zucchini and zucchini, no problem. Well hacked, the thing is very quiet compared to the ninja! Cleaned everything up and made some broccoli. Same result. Whisper quiet and finely chopped broccoli. The first big test was a giant beetroot. Unpacked and thrown in. He held his breath and pressed the button. A whisper of silence and a finely chopped beetroot. That thing rocks! Made ground beef this week. no sweat Pork shoulder next week. I assume this will work quickly. I love it so far!
