Review on πŸ§„ Top-rated Chef'n FreshForce Garlic Press: Maximizing Garlic Flavor and Ease of Use by Jennifer Wible

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good overall, could be better but does its job

I like it and it replaces the original which was starting to rust. The main problem I have is that it doesn't seem to give me as much garlic when I press it as my old one did. With the old one, I could put the pieces back together and press a second time to get more out of the carnation, but there really isn't that much you can do with this one. I feel like I'm wasting more garlic this way, not much but I've noticed. Garlic also tends to get stuck between the metal press with holes and the black hand you're squeezing. There's a line where they meet and I end up scraping the garlic off it with my fingernail. I also wish it would open a little wider to get the garlic chunks out of the press. It can be a bit difficult to get there as there is very little space. Overall this is a good press and I will probably never need to replace it (I just give it a really good wash when I'm done with it and give it a quick wash with a soapy sponge and let it dry so I think it might last forever ) and it doesn't take me nearly as much effort to crush the garlic to do what it's supposed to, I just have a few annoyances with it but they don't make me not use it!

Pros
  • Like everything so far
Cons
  • Security
