The state of Kentucky recently changed their billboards to feature laser printed numbers and use thicker plastic than one that breaks easily. I bought this item to protect my poster from cracking. However, after putting my number plate in my case and leaving it in my car for two weeks, not even in the sun, the plates changed to a plastic case and are now almost unreadable on the number plate itself. God forbid something will happen to the sleeve in the next five years, otherwise you won't even see the numbers! I think it's better not to use the sleeve at all. The hangar itself is a lot bigger than I thought it would be and I have to struggle to get on and off the rearview mirror of my 2013 Ford Escape. The quality of the hull is such that I'm afraid of being rude to it, afraid of ripping the hangar away from the hull. I won't buy this again. I would have preferred a hard, thicker, hard plastic shell to this cheaper, thinner shell.
