I bought this instead of a flexible shank for a larger tool because it was hanging tool up in the air and flex shaft lubrication/maintenance sounds like a major pain in the neck. This thing handles everything I've thrown at it so far. And it's just as important to me that it's quiet. I can leave it on all night in my small apartment and the neighbors won't hear a thing. But huge points for the next thing, even after reading about it in the reviews and realizing this flaw, the location and size of the locking button is just insane. This is the largest button on the device and is in the same place as the power button, just on the other side. You'll click on it while it's working and it'll sound awful. I put some red tape on the lock button so hopefully I never mistake it for the power button again. You have to move, resize and disable this thing while the machine is running.
