Review on ๐Ÿ”Œ Eufy Cordless Handheld Ultra Lightweight Charging: Unleashing Ultimate Convenience and Portability by Joshua Castillo

Revainrating 3 out of 5

The vacuum is great! Filters as currently designed are a FATAL design flaw.

This would be a 5 star product if it weren't for the filter design that lets all the vacuum through. The only reason I'm even giving it 2 stars is because *the vacuum cleaner* itself is awesome. The filter is terrible and ruins the entire vacuum cleaner. As it sits, the vacuum is really just making a mess with the lithium-ion battery until the filter design is redesigned. The filter merely "seals" (or does not seal) the walls of the strainer through plastic-to-plastic contact. The filters only have a slightly flexible plastic edge that has to "rubโ€ into the dirt trap. Unfortunately, this sucks tons of dust from the filter, sucks it into the engine, and blows it around the top edges of the dust bin. This will destroy the vacuum in no time, and it's no big deal if it just blows what you've vacuumed back up through the top of the mudguard and the back of the unit. With a simple filter overhaul, all of this can be solved and the vacuum will be amazing. Yufi, please change the filter. It just needs to have a hard plastic rim that fits snugly in the vacuum and it needs to have a small o-ring groove and o-ring to ensure it seals properly against the dirt cap. Similar to the o-ring that holds the outer cover. I know it's cheaper to just make filters out of plastic without adding an o-ring to them, but without it, this vacuum is a HUGE mistake. This inexpensive plastic filter allows the entire vacuum to pass through. For this product to be successful, the filter must be sealed in some way. The current method is simply not sustainable. I will be emailing details and photos in the next few days but if you would like to contact me before then I would be happy to work with you to redesign the filter to fix the vacuum. If you don't check the filter so it can seal better, you can now drop the price down to $6.99 because that's about all they're worth. Inexpensive enough to attract shoppers but not expensive enough to keep them coming back. However, if Eufy isn't willing to overhaul the filter to make the product really work, I'll be returning it and amending this review accordingly as well. My impression is that Eufy is a company working to improve their product, especially if it's just replacing a small disposable part, so I hope I'm not wrong. But for now I can't recommend it to anyone as it is now. I hope to change this recommendation in the coming weeks as I really like it to stay that way.
