I bought them for my son's soccer jersey. They weren't supposed to have pockets, so these shorts were perfect. I felt they were true to size because I bought a different type online and they were too big. My son wears an 8-10 in Target and I bought the large ones in these shorts. They fit perfectly. They are lightweight and have a drawstring waist for a comfortable fit.
