Review on 💪 Corsair CP-8920202 SF Series Premium PSU Cable Kit - Individually Sleeved Black Power Supply Cables, optimized for Corsair PSUs by Chuck Derrick

I have a Corsair HX850i PSU in a Lian Li PC-011 Dynamic case. The cables that came with the power supply are too long for my case and because of this I ended up with large bundles of cables in the cable management area. These premium Corsair SF Series power cables are perfect for my case as the cables are a little slack and don't require tying any cables to keep them clean. and I'll probably end up putting a dab of glue on each wire to hold it in place when I disconnect and reconnect the wires. This is my first time using custom jacketed cables and cable combs, so I have no idea if this is related to these cables and my combs, or if anyone else using combs will have the same issues. My only real issue was that the 24-pin ATX connector on the PSU side had a different connector, which meant I had to replace the connector with one that matched my PSU. Type 4 cables are included and my PSU uses Type 3 cables. The only difference between the two types is that Type 4 has 3 extra wires on the side of the PSU which are not used in Type 3 PSUs ( they have two voltage sensors). . cable and ground). This meant I had to replace the 18 pin ATX connector with a 14 pin ATX connector in order to use the 24 pin ATX cable. It would be nice if Corsair made a SF series kit for Type 3 cables or we could buy the ATX 24 pin Type 3 cable separately.
