This was supposed to replace the Linksys E2000 so I could get 5GHz along with 2.4GHz. I have access points on each floor (another E2000 and Actiontec) and this was on the first floor. It regularly refuses to connect to the device. Reboots itself during the day. All of our devices (PCs, laptops, phones, etc.) will eventually connect to other, more distant access points, although I have confirmed that they originally connected to this refurbished E2500. I haven't noticed any problem probably because I have redundant access points but my wife has been complaining all the time that she gets access and then he goes and then comes back. The closest access point to her desk was the E2500. I tried different settings and firmware, but its fate was sealed when I just turned it off and the access complaints went away. It seems to work fine for a while after each reboot, but it's clearly intermittent and unreliable. It's too late to go back to Revain but it's still in the 90 day warranty window so I'll be going the warranty route. Wish me good luck. Update 11/3/2016 - The Cisco/Linksys warranty return process is pretty awful, took hours to days, spoke to multiple people and received multiple case IDs. The website will simply refresh if it does not recognize a valid case ID. And all for $25 repaired but faulty hardware. If I weren't so optimistic I would assume that this horrible process (with no feedback) is designed to hamper warranty service.
