This size 5 suit is for my 4 year old grandson as a Christmas present. Winters are quite mild in our region, so the weight of this fabric is ideal. This may not be the case in colder climates. The texture and feel are about the same as a thinner t-shirt. The fabric is very soft and I think the pants and top will be very comfortable. The drawstring at the waist of the pants is purely decorative, so the degree of fit is not adjustable. This outfit is so cute with its stars and stripes pattern on a blue background and I expect my grandson will love it. I can only approximate the fit so far but both pieces look like they are true to size - I hope they do.
