Review on Thetford TH31708 Aqua-Magic V High and Low Foot with Upgraded Blade Seal by Jeremy Gums

Firstly it is easy to install, instructions are included and it solved my problem with water not staying in the bottom of my toilet camper. All good, problem solved. The product description says it is a blade seal only and the only picture was a blade seal. So since you have to lift the toilet off the floor to fit the new lamellar seal, it makes sense to also replace the "toilet flange seal" located on the underside of the toilet when screwing it back onto the floor. .I read the reviews and questions, some people said they only had the blade seal, others said they had the blade seal and bottom flange seal. Since I needed to do this before our next hike, I immediately ordered a separate bottom flange gasket so I could finish the job right away. I didn't need the separate flange gasket that I bought. The instructions also state to discard the old flange gasket and install the new gasket, so it may appear that their instructions assume you always get both gaskets in this package. It would be nice to know what you're getting up front so you don't have to buy an additional print separately.
