Seems to hold up well and the typical wide fatmax band is always nice. However, the automatic lock function is nfg. It brakes hard enough to resist the spring pulling it back, but not enough to resist pushing back. It often happens that you need to take a measurement by pressing the end of the tape to the surface and this is not the case. a problem with a normal blocking measure, but with that you end up pushing the tape back in. Very annoying. Finally, save your money and get a standard Fatmax, or if you're still looking to spend $30 buy a Milwaukee, which doesn't have the same wide blade, but every other aspect of the band and body feels more abominable. I particularly like the double-sided tape (the scales are printed on both sides) and the handbrake function (basically just a cutout in the bottom of the body so your index finger can grab the blade as it retracts rather than you into the front body pinch or use the other hand).
